Here is a little of our story
We weren't always in Laton!

Our name is officially Church of the Nazarene, Hanford. We've been around since 1931.

Over the years, we've had buildings and wandered in the high school gym wilderness.

But then, God opened up an amazing opportunity. The Church of God in Laton offered us a home in the property they owned, selling it to us for $1 a month for 12 months if we'd promise to keep the church open. So we're in Laton to stay as the local Nazarene church.

To live our value of serving the community, we've become committed to our Spanish-speaking neighbors, so we are One Church in Two Languages. Our pastoral team operates as a unit. We preach on the same topics, but worship in two services.

We own property in Hanford to create a new ministry and to launch another church. It's an exciting time as we watch God renew our vision, restore our outreach to Hanford, and revitalize our congregation to carry the mission of the church into the future.

You may know us as the Groceries2Go or Food Pantry, but we are way more than that. Come and see!
